Mercer Island Expedition
Mercer Island Expedition
Join us for a unique overnight opportunity for returning and older campers wanting more! We are excited to offer a 5 day expedition circumnavigating Mercer Island, camping at local parks along the way.
Day One will be a training day at base camp (Luther Burbank), making sure we have the safety skills and knowledge for our undertaking, and campers will go home Monday night. Day Two we’ll make sure our packing and camp skills are dialed in, and we’ll camp at Luther Burbank. Days Three through Five we’ll be paddling the island, and learning expedition camp skills and paddling techniques and strategies as we go.
Due to the commitment and group nature, for our first year of this program we are setting the age minimum to 12.
(And we have a really cool partnership for further expeditions in the works for future years!!)
